The Black Ramshorn Snail (Planorbella duryi) is a freshwater snail with a smooth, circular coiled shell resembling a ram’s horn. The black variant is especially striking and often used in aquascapes, paludariums, and nano tanks. It contributes to algae control and helps clean up leftover fish food and organic debris.

This species grows between 1–3 cm and is completely peaceful, making it suitable for planted tanks and tropical aquariums.
